A wreath is a ring of flowers, leaves, and sometimes fruits, used as an ornament, hanging on a wall or door, or resting on a table.

Wreaths are wonderful decorative items for any occasion no matter what season of the year. Spring and summer wreaths may be festooned with colored eggs, flowers, fruits or vegetables. Autumn wreaths may preserve elements of the harvest - gourds, nuts, dried leaves and flowers. However, winter wreaths are the most glorious at a time when we most need a splash of color and life and they certainly say, "welcome to my home". Wreaths are practical for the holidays, as well.
